Day 1 - Airport / Pinnawala / Kandy

On Arrival at the Airport, you will be greeted by Travel Shouters representative and will arrange the transfer to Kandy.

On the way visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. The Orphanage cares for and protects the many orphaned unweaned wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. Take part in feeding baby elephants and watch them bath twice a day, which is a unique experience that's exclusive to Pinnawala Elephant orphanage.

Day 2 - Kandy / Knuckles mountain (Camping)

After breakfast, visit the The Knuckes Mountain Range is a major ecotourism venue of Sri Lanka and has been declared a conservation area. It is a real paradise for those who love to hike or mountain bike, offering numerous mountainous trails that journey across clear rivers, through dense forests, past flowing waterfalls and lush tea plantations, and alongside terraced paddy fields and colourful Kandyan home gardens.

Overnight camping at Knuckles Mountain Range.

Day 3 - Knuckles / Nuwara Eliya

After a hearty breakfast, head on to the city in the Hills, Nuwara Eliya. Hill country flourishes with acres and acres of tea plantations. Stop by a Tea Factory and a beautiful Tea field. Here you can take a walk by a vegetable field too!
You will also be able to see some breathtaking view points and waterfalls on this trip.

On-route visit a Sri Lankan traditional Batik Factory. This visit will allow you to take a glimpse into the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into the designing of Batik based items in Sri Lanka. Observe fascinating collections of precious stones found in Sri Lanka by visiting a Gemological Museum on the way.

Day 4 - Nuwara Eliya / Horton Plains / Nuwara Eliya

Early morning, begin the journey to visit Horton Plains. It is a National Park situated in the Highlands of Sri Lanka. Horton Plains is rich in biodiversity whereas some species are endemic to the region. The very famous World’s End and Baker’s Falls are located in this Park and are ranked as the top attractions of the Park.

Day 5 - Nuwara Eliya / Ella

After breakfast, head to Ella. You can take the famous train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. This train ride is said to be the best ride in Sri Lanka filled with extraordinary views all the way. As the tickets for this train ride is in high demand, it is recommended that you let us know in advance if interested in taking this ride. At the end of train ride, the guides will pick you up from Ella Station. You can enjoy breathtaking views all the way, by road and train. If you’re travelling by road, you can visit the Hakgala Botanical Garden on the way.

Day 6 - Ella / Udawalawe

After a delicious breakfast, go for a safari at Udawalawe National Park. Udawalawe is an important habitat for water birds and Sri Lankan elephants. Udawalawe is an important habitat for Sri Lankan elephants, which are relatively hard to see in its open habitats. Many elephants are attracted to the park because of the Udawalawe reservoir, with a herd of about 250 believed to be permanently resident.

Day 6 - Ella / Udawalawe

From Udawalawe, proceed to the selected Beach Resort.

Day 2 - Kandalama / Dambulla / Sigiriya / Kandalama

From Kandalama, proceed to Dambulla Cave Temple which is one the caves to be in the highest state of preservation and order. The cave complex is covered with decorative paintings and Buddha Statues and various Personages of Buddhist History.

Then proceed on to climb Sigiriya, the Lion Rock. According to an ancient Sri Lankan chronicle, the site was selected by King Kasyapa as his new capital. He built a palace on top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Its appearance marvels the visitors due to its unique harmony between nature and human imagination.

Day 3 - Kandalama / Polonnaruwa

After breakfast, enjoy a memorable ride in hot Air balloon in the early morning. Thereafter visit the ancient city Polonnaruwa. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa remains one of the best planned archaeological relic cities in the country, standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom's first rulers. Here, you have the option of exploring the Polonnaruwa city in bicycles.

Day 4 - Polonnaruwa / Minneriya / Knuckles mountain

After breakfast, visit  Minneriya National Park for a morning Safari. The three-tour options allow you to select whether you wish to watch wildlife during their morning activities, evening activities or even throughout the day.
